Characteristics

Via ferrata leads to the impressive Colac mountain (2.715m). The ferrata is not difficult, most sections are B difficulty, harder sections are secured by cramps. The ferrata is long and really mountainous and runs along the north wall of the mountain.

Arrival

Innsbruck - Brenner - Klausen and Sellajoch to Canazei. From here, take the direction of Alba and stop at the Ciampac cable car.

Approach

From the cableway follow the road 664. You will walk a little down to the water reservoir. From it, the road rises up directly to the steel ropes.

Exit

A normal exit path (difficulty A) and then cross the grass field to Forcella Neigra. From the top, take the road 610 to Ciampo Agnes and then turn to the road 644 back to the cable car. if you do not want to use the cable car, you can go down the valley. However, it will take about two more hours.
