Characteristics

Ridge ferrata with not so many secured sections, so you should be exercised on alpine terrain. The ridge is almost three thousand meters above sea level. The route is bidirectional. There are beautiful views on the snow-covered peaks.

Arrival

Exit to the Grand San Bernardo pass to the lake parking lot.

Approach

Along the southern wall of the ridge exit into the saddle Fenetre d´en Haut and then turn right towards the top of Pointe de Drone 2949mnm. Ferrata starts below the summit.

Exit

Cross the top of the Grande Chenalette 2900mnm where is another ferrata, then descend to the lake and parking lot.
