Characteristics

Rubli is a spectacular mountain in the Saanenland area. Its impressive western wall will be noticed by anyone who goes by cable car to the Videmanette. And that is where the very airy secured road leads. Who does not feel so brave, can climb the popular sightseeing summit by a easier route (Voie 1), which can be turned into a shorter but slightly more challenging option (Voie 2).

Arrival

Zurich - Bern - Thun - Sannen - Rougemont.

Approach

From the top station of the cable car to Videmanette to the left along the ridge to the west foot of Rubli. Here begins the route "Voie 1" and to the secured path "Voie 3" go to the left via short descent to the beginning of the ferrata.

Exit

From the top of Le Rubli back via the "Voie 1" route to the cable car to Videmanette.

Interesting facts

Well secured, airy ferrata on a wall (cramps, ladders).
