Characteristics

The via ferrata is located in the Hadžića Gorge near the village of Opine, about 6 km from the center of Mostar. The actual secured path is actually very short and is located at the end of the gorge.

Arrival

Parking at the Eco Center Blagaj.

Boarding

From the parking lot, about 10 minutes to the turnoff into the gorge. Most of the trail runs in the dry stream bed, and in some places it is quite overgrown with thorny plants. Therefore, you should pay attention when choosing your clothing. On some sections of the route, a rope is installed as a railing to make the transition easier. A well-made via ferrata starts directly under the rock and is very short. It is therefore suitable for combinations with other via ferratas in this region as part of day trips.

Exit

After leaving the via ferrata there is a junction with the path back to Opine. If you wish, you can go further and visit the remains of the Austro-Hungarian fortresses, of which there are several in this area.
