Characteristics
We'll encounter a via ferrata, which will force us to find the rock face from the very beginning. Along its very well-constructed route, it features unusual steps such as climbing holds and chains until we reach the two key points of this route.
The first will be a Stairway to Heaven, which will easily take us up about 25 meters. At the end, we can go left to find a 30-meter rappel facility, which we can descend and try the other section or ascend the ladder again.
The second option before the ladder is to follow the line that heads to our right. We'll find a vertical section with a steep K5 drop. We'll continue along a slightly overhanging traverse and finish with a small vertical drop that will take us to the end of the ladder, where we can either rappel or continue.
Once we've passed these steps, we'll continue until we reach the end.
Arrival
Entering the town from the "Coll del Vidre" side, we'll pass a gas station in Vistabella on the CV-170. We'll continue until we see two entrances to the town around a bend, one of them bearing the name of the town. Taking this road, we'll continue up the streets to Fuente de Dalt.
Approach
From the parking lot, we continue along the path toward the "Mirador del Pinet" and just before reaching it, on the left, we take the path where we see the via ferrata sign. We follow the path downhill and the signs to the start of the via ferrata.
Descent
From the end of the via ferrata, we will follow the signs until we reach a path which we will descend and take us to the viewpoint. From here, we will retrace our steps back to the car.
Points of interest
As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
