Characteristics

This Via Ferrata is a two-hour traverse in the Dolomites at an altitude of almost three thousand meters. It is not difficult but it is at high altitude and in bad weather it could be dangerous. But it is one of the most famous trips in Brent.

Arrival

Innsbruck - Bolzen - Mezzocorona - Dimaro - Madonna di Campiglio - Palu (Parking at Rif Vallesinella (1513 m))

Approach

From the parking lot to Rigugio Casina, Rifugio Ai Brentai and Rifugio Alimonta.

Exit

Follow 305 to Bocca di Brenta, 2549 m. You have two choices:

1) On Route 318 via Val Brenta Alta, back to Rif. Brentei and further to the car park

2) On the way 318 to Rifugio Pedrotti-Tosa cottage, 2483 m
