Characteristics

Opened in 2019, this Via Ferrata is divided in 2 sections, with a walking path connecting them. At the end there is a nice Bridge.

Arrival

Park your car in Barreiros, near the cemitery. This is in Valpaços.

Approach

From the cemitery, walk 2.2km on a dust and rocky road, going down to the viewpoint (Miradouro). From the viewpoint, continue the forest road until you reach the river. There, follow along the river for about 200m until you reach a sign stating "Acesso Via Ferrata".

Descent

For the way back (1.2km), you go to the viewpoint (Miradouro) and walk back to the car following the same forest road.
