Characteristics
Varied Via Ferrata with great views, two options for difficulty, and a decent amount of exposure in places. The 19m rope bridge connecting the end of the difficult option ("Via Difficile") to the descent trail is a highlight. Topo map with details courtesy of Ticino's tourist information is available here: https://www.ticino.ch/pdf/infoturistica/Ferrata.pdf.
About half way up the Ferrata, there is a split. Climbers can choose between the "Via Difficile" (390m, KS5, B-E difficulty), "Via Media" (190m, KS3, A-C difficulty), or a trail "Sentiero Di Collegamento" which leads to the top of the "Via Media".
Arrival
After entering the village of Sementina, Bellinzona, find available parking near the "Monte Carasso - Mornera" cable car station (46.189418000873324, 8.997486276951022). Parking is scarce, and might result in a couple minutes walk from your parking spot to the cable car.
A reservation appears to be required to ride the cable car, consult the cable car's website for operation hours, fare, directions and reservations: https://www.mornera.ch/en/cable-car/.
Approach
From the top of the cable car (Mornera), proceed Westward then Northwestward on the well established trail/road about 1.5-2.5km to the base of the Via Ferrata. It begins almost directly from the trail, the swisstopo app with SwitzerlandMobility hiking overlay should have all the information you need to get to the start.
Descent
From the "top" of the easier option ("Via Media"), a series of A/B/C difficulty sections bring you to the top of the difficult route ("Via Difficile"), from where a trail leads down across a pasture, then through the trees back to the top of the cable car, in Mornera.
