Characteristics
Via Ferrata "Sierra Oliva" of Caudete, built by Akawi Aventure, with difficulties from K2 to K6, zip line, Tibetan bridge and a spectacular view.
The first section is a K2. After finishing it, we walk a few minutes and find a Tibetan bridge of 68 meters!!! with a slight slope. At the end of the bridge, we begin a K3 section. We walk a few meters and reach a very nice cave, where we find the most demanding section of this via ferrata, a K6, which will make us give everything. It is a stretch that takes us out through a roof. Almost in parallel, there is a K3 with a slight overhang. These two routes (K6 and K3) join and, aided by a chain, we reach a path that ends in a zip line of approximately 62 meters. Upon receiving it, we walk a few meters and arrive at another K3 section, followed after a path, by another K3 that ends in a horizontal section. Leaving this, we take the ascending path, but be careful! we find a path on the left, which is the downhill path. Taking the path on the right, we climb in a few minutes to the last section, a powerful K5 with a horizontal traverse with continuous drop, which, in parallel, is accompanied by an alternative K3-4, which join halfway up the climb. In a few meters we reach the end of the via ferrata.
Arrival
City Caudete - park at the end of Calle Vereda de Santa Ana.
Approach
From the parking lot along the path to the beginning of the via ferrata, we have a few meters.
Descent
The descent is via a path that starts to the right of the end of the via ferrata.
Poits of interest
IMPORTANT: You should know that registration is mandatory to be able to do the activity.
As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
