Characteristics

The medium-level ferrata near Cortina d'Ampezzo offers a nice ascent in a beautiful massive rock where the climbing passages are mixing with walking.

Arrival

Brenner, then take the exit to Brixen and continue through Cortina d'Ampezzo. In front of Cortina, you will drive around the airport, where is a parking lot and a ferrata starts at the Fiamés Hotel.

Approach

From the hotel along the marked forest road (the former railroad) and after a few meters turn left into the forest and climb through the pine trees along a gravel road just below the wall. the first part is without a rope, the rope starts up in the wall.

Exit

After the end of the ferrata take exposed part I and then go east towards the Pomagagnon Forcella and further downhill which is not very pleasant. At the pointer turn left and follow the forest path to the parking lot.
