Characteristics

A nice mountainous via ferrata in the heart of the Dolomites. Mostly of difficulty B, one section of difficulty C. Ferrata will lead you directly to the top of Piz Boe. Even at the beginning of summer watch out for the ice fields.

Arrival

Munich - Innsbruck - Brenner and take the highway exit to Klause. Continue through Plan to Corvara. Here you can park and use the cable car or continue from Corvara to Passhohe in the direction of Campolongo to the cable car station.

Approach

a) By cable car to Vallonkar and from there approx. 30 minutes along the marked path.
b) from the car park from the saddle approx. 2 hours to Franz Kostner Hutte. From it approx. 30 minutes to the start of the ferrata.

Exit

From the summit along Route 638 towards the cable car station and further down to the parking lot as approach.
