Characteristics
Steinsee - Klettersteig is a nice mountain via ferrata that leads to the Steinkarspitze and offers views of the scenic surrounding countryside, the Steinsee lake and the like.
Arrival
Innsbruck - Schönwies - exit left onto "Steinseehütte" and take the forest road to the parking lot.
Approach
From the parking lot at Alfúzalm along Route 625 to Steinseehütte (2:15h). From there, turn left onto Route 601 towards Würtemberger Haus. After a few minutes to the right to the start of the ferrata.
Exit
From the top take the secured path to the right into the saddle. At the saddle keep right and you will come back to the start of the ferrata.
