Characteristics

This ferrata is called "little Brenta in Tirol" because of its tower and its overall character reminds the famous Brenta Ferrata. It is a traverse on the top, where the entrance to ferrata is at the height of about 2500m and continues to the top of Steingrubenkogel 2633m. From Ferrata you can come to different places and connect it with an alpine tour. But the key point is Kemater Alm.

Arrival

Grimzens - in the city left to Sportcafe across the stream and then on the gravel road to Kemater Alm. Buy a parking ticket here.

Approach

From the car park at Adolf-Pichler-Hütte, at the cottage turn left to Alpenklubscharte. From there to the left after red to the start.

Exit

Back again.
