Sky Walk - Klettersteig Skywalk - D/E
Predicting whether..
Characteristics
Via ferrata is called the way to heaven and is really not far from its name - extremely hard and exposed, practically in its entire length except the beginning. Skywalk leads to the top of Hunerkogel, which is almost 2700m and is one of the peaks in around Dachstein. Both physical condition and great strength in your arms are needed. Under the very top, when there is not much strength left, it is necessary to overcome the final overhang!
Arrival
Linz - Schladming - turn right at Ramsau am Dachstein, continue straight ahead and then take the Dachsteinstraße right up to the cable car
Approach
You take the cable car up and then descend from the station via a short ferrata (C / D), starting at the point where the red and white markings are down to the Hunerscharte. Then follow the newly renovated Hunerscharten-Klettersteig to the panel that points to the Sky Walk.
Exit
The cable car back down.
