Characteristics

An extremely long mountain ferrata. its larger part leads along the ridge with the hardest sections being at most level B but a few sections at the beginning of the ferrata are a C or D. When finished, you can continue to other ferratas that are connected to it.

Arrival

Linz - Salzburg - towards Villach and exit to Lienz. In Lienz you will turn to Tristach, go through it to towards Lavant, but right after Tristach, turn right to the Dolomiten Hutte.

Approach

From the parking place go along the marked road to Karlsbadhutte. From there follow the ferrata Ari Schubel on Grose Sandspitz, where this ferrata starts.

Exit

Follow the descent path to the hut.
