Characteristics

Very long via ferrata crossing on exposed ledges from Forcella Lavinal dell'Orso (2123 m) to Forca de lis Sieris (2274 m), which sometimes leads on the top of the ridge as well. Along the way we visit one peak - Foronon del Buinz (2531 m) - and many Italian positions from World War 1.

Arrival

By car through Cave del Predil to Sella Nevea.

Approach

From Sella Nevea via route nr. 628 and 628a to Rifugio Guido Corsi (1874 m - 3h). In another hour we reach Forcella Lavinal dell'Orso (2123 m), where our via ferrata begins.

Exit

From below Cima di Terrarossa (2420 m) to Rifugio Brazza (1660 m - 2h) and - if needed - by road back to starting point.

Interesting facts

For those in good physical condition who are able to do some easy free climbing, it is possible to climb some more peaks in vicinity of via ferrata.
