Characteristics

A nice mountainous via ferrata Südwandband Klettersteig Buchstein leads to the summit of Großer Buchstein. Everywhere rock and stone, the ferrata is simple, but offers beautiful views.

Arrival

Admont - Gstatterboden Station.

Approach

From the station about 300 meters to the bridge, here turn right on the road 641 to Buchsteinhaus (1574m, 2 1/2h.) Then again on the road 641 until you reach the start of the ferrata.

Exit

Either the same way as you came or through Buchsteinhaus.
