Characteristics

Very airy and picturesque ridge of Dolgi hrbet (2473 m) - quite demanding and long round.

Arrival

Through Kamnik to Dom v Kamniški Bistrici (600 m). It is also possible to park higher along the road - e.g. V koncu (900 m).

Approach

From Dom v Kamniški Bistrici we need 3,5 hours (from the end of the road 0,5 hours less) to Cojzova koča (1793 m). From there we continue on a makred path to Mlinarsko sedlo, where our via ferrata begins.

Exit

Via Veliki Podi to Cojzova koča (2 h) and back to starting point (another 1,5 - 2 h).

Interesting facts

Possibility to combine it with Skuta (2532 m) - takes another hour.
