Characteristics

Short via ferrata on the way from Velika planina to Kamniška Bela. Usually it is done on descent.

Arrival

To lower cable car station in Kamniška Bistrica by car and with cable car and chairlift to Zeleni rob on Velika planina.

Approach

From Velika planina over Planina Dol to Konj (1803m). Via ferrata starts just below the summit of Konj.

Exit

Back down to Kamniška Bistrica from saddle Presedljaj, where via ferrata ends. In the valley we have around 1 km of walk on the main road to reach our parking lot at the cable car station.

Interesting facts

Not so demanding via ferrata, but quite exposed. Via ferrata represents only a short part of a very beautiful round with nice views.
