Characteristics

Short but interesting via ferrata during a very long tour to less know Slovenian peak Plešivec (2184 m). Ferrata is the steepest in the beginning. From the saddle to the summit some experience with free ascending (without a trail) on steep grasses is needed.

Arrival

From Log pod Mangartom towards Koritnica to the table signalling the core of Triglav national park.

Approach

From parking lot on a closed road to Koritniška planina (1h). Above we come to the crossing where we have to head right over a stream and up towards a big rocky wall. Approximately 100m before the wall we turn right towards the entrance at a deep black block of rock.

Exit

Same as approach.

Interesting facts

Plešivec is far away from masses, so if you are looking for beautiful places where you can enjoy by youself in company of chamois, this is the place!
