Characteristics

The path leads through a stony stream bed. There are some ladders, holds and a via ferrata rope along the way. Since the via ferrata is neither exposed nor airy, a via ferrata set is probably not needed.

Arrival

Direction Rijeka, then Dražice and Podkilavac. There is a parking lot at the end of the village.

Boarding

Start of the via ferrata: 45.432353N, 14.501838E

From Podkilavac follow the red trail into the Mudna Dolina valley.

Exit

Either around the Planinarski dom Halić and Staza Halić huts or over the ridge to Vidalj.

Interesting facts

The circular route can be extended via Fratar, which dominates this hiking trail.
