Characteristics
Markussteig is an easy via ferrata that leads to the summit of Pfaffenstein 1865m. From the other side of the mountain leads the Südwandsteig ferrata (Schrabachersteig).
Arrival
St. St. Gallen - Eisenerz.
Approach
From the parking lot in the forest, take the forest trail to the left - Route 825. Turn to Schrabachersteig - infoboard. Keep left until you reach the house where you turn right. Still up the forest road and the winding roads. Here turn to the Eisenerzer Klettersteig and keep left until you get to the start of the ferrata.
Exit
