Characteristics

On of the via ferratas that are part og the Naturfreunde climbing center. It is built on the same rock as several other ferratas of difficulty from A to E. These ferrats are about one hour's drive from Linz and provide a truly unusual experience. A panoramic ladder is built on the rock and is connected by a 63m long, rope bridge! The ladder leads to the rock where you can choose which ferrata you want take. You can park right under the rocks on a paid parking lot for 2.5 €. There is a buffet next to it where you can buy something to drink and eat.

Attention! This ferrata is extremely difficult! It is very physically demanding, there are no places to rest and no early exits.

Arrival

Linz - towards Graz - Nußbach - Steinbach - Ternberg - Trratenbach and then a marked road to Klettergarten. Be careful, the road is very narrow. Go straight and then left along the fence until you reach the parking lot. Everything is clearly marked.

Approach

From the parking lot straight to the ferrata.

Exit

Go right from the summit, then down a ladder after 20 metres. Pay attention, it is easy to miss.
