Characteristics

A beautiful, very airy and hard via ferrata. Although the C/D section is the hardest, due to the length of the ferrata and its exposure we recommend it especially for experienced climbers.

Arrival

Linz - Salzburg - here direction Villach and exit to Lienz. In Lienz turn to Tristach and across it to Lavant, but right after Tristach, turn right to Dolomiten Hutte.

Approach

From the parking lot along marked Rudle Eller weg. Still rising and above the Kuhalm, the secured part of difficulty A/B begins because of the falling rocks. Then it descends a little, then rises again to the Egerländerkante and climbs to the starting infoboard.

Exit

From the top to the Laserzscharte pass and from there to the Karlsbadhutte, from where you descend back to the valley.
