Characteristics

A pleasant cool via ferrata, which is of difficulty B/C, but only thanks to one section. Most of the route is formed by sections of difficulty A/B with many walking passages. The lower part is still hidden in the woods, but the beautiful views of the surroundings will open in the upper part. Ferrata is also suitable for children, but beware its length is 2.5 hours and 750 meters elevation.

Arrival

From Innsbruck drive towards Italy via the Brenner Pass. Take the motorway directly to Brenner and continue on the SS12 to Gossensass, where turn right towards Pflerschtal (Innerplfesch). Go as far as possible to St. Anton to the Feuerstein Inn where you can park. Alternatively, you can turn left across the bridge in front of the church and continue along. You can park your car at Weilers Stein.

Approach

From the lower car park: cross the stream and continue towards the waterfall (Wasserfall). At Peterhof turn left into the forest and follow the marked path, which is just below the rock steepest, to get to the start of the ferrata.
From the upper parking lot: go to the crossroads near Peterhof and continue as described above.

Exit

After the ferrata, you can go approx. 15 minutes to the Tribunalhutte on the trail, or shorten your journey and go right down the visible roads that will take you back to the valley.
