Characteristics

One of the most famous via ferratas in Slovenian Alps, which was opened in 1940. It follows the north-east ridge above Robanov kot. This is the most demanding, but also the most beautiful ascent to Ojstrica with picturesque passages and airy views.

Arrival

Parking lot at Dom planincev in Logarska dolina.

Approach

From Dom planincev it takes an hour to get to Koča na Klemenči jami pod Ojstrico on a marked path. We keep the direction towards Krofička and follow the marked path until saddle Škrbina at 1800m, where we have to turn right to via ferrata entrance.

Exit

On a marked path over saddle Škarje and past Klemenča jama. If we have two cars we can descent to Korošica and further down to Kamniška Bistrica or Podvolovjek.

Interesting facts

In early summer we have to use winter equipment as there is a possibility of snow fields.
