A9 exit Gesäuse - 146 through Admont and Gesäuse - Gstatterboden and Johnsbachtal. Park by the Kölblwirt
Approach
From Gasthof Kölbl on the way 601 through Koderalmen to Heßhütte. Then turn left to Hochtor through Latschen
