Characteristics

Beautiful ferrata is connected to the most difficult ferrata in the world - Extraplomix. Ferrata begins where is a sign of Jesus Beitia on the rock. Rock is secured by rope nad cramps. You will get to the place where is an escape (also exit route from Extraplomix). Second part starts with 20m long ladder in the cave. Its not anchored in the ground. Ladder has 3 parts to rest, take photos etc. There is a cave above the ladder. Another ladder will follow and then the final part, very airy. Very nice climbing in the south part of the island, which can be combined to visiting Maspalomas.

Arrival

From the GC1 motorway, take exit 37 San Agustin / Bahia Feliz to the GC500. After about 1km there is a bus stop in front of the overpass. Before it turn right to the dirt road and park there (to ferrata it will be about 3.5 km), or go to parking2 (suitable for off-road vehicles) where you will be stoped after about 650m by the barrier (leave the car somewhere near).

Approach

From the car park at the station, follow the gravel road under the highway in the direction to the dam. When the path begins to climb to the dam, turn left (there is a small sign on the stone - green "VF" on a white background) along the trough of the Barranco Berriel stream to the parking lot 2. Then by a small path to the rock with a distinctive boulder with marks and now 2 minutes to the right to the start where the name of the ferrata is written.

Descent

From the top to the right and follow the small yellow markings (partly extra white adhesive tape) and the stone men ... bypass the whole rock until you get back to the start point. Descent makes easier a solid rope. From here, descend the access road.

To use the emergency exit in front of the ladder, simply follow the mounds and climb the trough back to the start. A descent from above is added in front of the trough.
