Characteristics

Hochalmblick Klettersteig is a great ridge via ferrata where you climb over 4 peaks and ends with a part of difficulty E, which has about 40-50m. The start of the ferrata is also quite difficult, but you can get around it and get on the ferrata right after the hard part. Other parts are not easy as well. The biggest attraction is the armchair that hangs on two ropes and you can get in it and watch the surroundings - beautiful! (There is also quite hard passage above the chair, which is marked as D, but is clearly underestimated)
It is worth to go up by cable car, otherwise it is quite a long and exhausting walk.
From the ferrata you can go straight to Mauskarspitze, where there are two more ferratas. Next to the Kleine Scharte cable car, there is another Hirschinger ferrata with a flying fox.

Arrival

Salzburg - Bad Hofgastein.

Approach

Cable car to Kleine Scharte. From the station to the left to Lake Speichersee. Then take the road to Türchlwand, which leads to the start of the ferrata. On the way, the entire ridge is visible.

Exit

From the top towards Türchlwand, then right to the cable car.
