Characteristics

Gustav Jahn Steig is another simple ferrata in Rax. It leads to the Gaislochsteig ferrata. In summer, the Ferrata is very wet, in winter frozen and covered by snow. 

Arrival

Reichenau an der Rax - Höllental - and the Weichtalhaus.

Approach

From the Weichtalhaus via the Schönbrunnerstiege to Grosse Höllental. The forest way up into the saddle to start.

Exit

Via the "Wachthüttelkamm" to Weichtalhaus 1.5h.
