The beautiful Ferrata by the Königsee attracts many enthusiasts! You can combine it with the ascent to Watzmann. The Ferrata is divided into 4 sections, as you can see on the TOPO. You can enjoying views of Lake Königsee. It can climb either a lighter variant or a difficult. They both lead to the top.

Arrival
Salzburg - Berchtesgaden - Königsee (here is a large paid parking place)
Approach
From the parking place to the wooden bridge, across it and go to the Grünstein. Turn right at curve 4, across the stream to Grünstein again. You will be on the path that you will climb upwards (3 curves). Then turn right to the rock.
Exit
From the top down by a marked forest road, which is still partially protected by steel rope.
