A nice via ferrata at Jonsbach along the steep rocky ridge of Silberreith (1105m), suitable for beginners and nature lovers :), wonderful views.

Arrival

Linz - exit to A9 - Liezen - Admont - Johnsbach - park at the tunnel in front of Johnsbach.

Approach

From the parking at the tunnel, walk along the retaining wall and follow the ascending slope to the start of the ferrata.

Exit

Along the marked path, at the top secured (A), descend back to Johnsbach.

You can combine Geo Steig very well with the adjacent Johnsbach Klettersteige.
