Characteristics

Gebirgsverein is a ferrata classified as D but, according to experience, reminds C/D. Ferrata have nice views of the surrounding area. In the middle of the ferratta there is a short rope ladder bridge. There is no need to be an expert to climb this ferrata. The Wildenauer is more demanding.

At the top you can refresh in the cottage.

Arrival

Wiender Neustadt - from here on the B26 to Grünbach am Schneeberg. Continue along the main road and follow the church to the right to Seiser Toni. You will ascend the forest path when you get to the spot. Seiser Toni has a parking place.

Approach

There is a sign on the Gebirgsverein ferrata. Take the road between the houses on the forest path and when you will see a big stone, turn left towards the wall. Continue up the road until you get to Gebirgsverein.

Exit

From the cottage down (black colour) and back to the car.
