Characteristics

Despite its short length, it is a very difficult ferrata in the Stubai Alps, which does not offer for climbers many places to relax. You can either climb this heavy variant or slightly lighter Fernau klettersteig, which starts in the same place. From the top you can see the Stubai glaciers and lakes.

Arrival

Stubailtal - to the end of the road to the cable car.

Approach

By cable car to Dresner Hütte. From cottage north (follow the red) to ferrata. The Dresner Hütte can also be reached on foot for more than an hour.

Exit

Down to the lake and back to Dresner Hütte and down the road
