Characteristics
Via Ferrata in Demjén was built in an old abandoned ryolite tuff quarry that belongs to the municipality of Demjén. An advantage of the quarry is that the mining was not carried out by blasting, but by splitting and splitting, which means that no fracture occurs. This made the smooth surfaces very suitable for building an impressive and functional reinforced path network. Because of this, the area has been popular with mountaineers for several years.

You can get to skala from the center of the town east via Bányaél on a hiking trail.
