Characteristics
An easy via ferata to try for beginners, running alongside a series of waterfalls above each other, the highest of which is huge. However, it is mostly hiking trail, the only climbing is only about 5m inclined section of the rock wall with chains.
Arrival
Bern / Adelboden / and at the end of the valley under the visible waterfall Parking near the cable car station "Unter dem Birg".
Approach
From the station through the forest to the waterfall and along the steeper sidewalk up under the rock wall where the ferrata begins.
Exit
Possible by cable car or walking trail to the lower cableway station
Interesting facts
There is a large vast plain enclosed by the surrounding peaks, including the main glacier Wildstrubel (over 3000m) and the landscape dominant solo peak Tschingelchochtighorn.
