Characteristics

Fun and beautiful via ferrata with several variations according to the taste and abilities of each climber. You can choose the length and difficulty and always have a nice climbing. The most difficult variant is D/E.

Arrival

Munich - Lindau - Vaduz - then Zurich. Go to Ziegelbrucke and go to the Glarus valley, which you will pass and turn right over the bridge to Linthal and then to the Braunwald car park.

Approach

From the top station of the cable car, follow the marked path towards Gumengrat and then take the first turn to the right.

Exit

You can exit the ferrata before the hard D/E section along a few easier descent ferratas, or after a more difficult option to go down the trail through Gumengrat back to the cottage.

Interesting facts

In the middle of the ferrata there is a bivak.
