Characteristics

This is the first via ferrata in Kosovo, located in Rugova National Park near Peja. The first section leads longitudinally above the river, followed by a section leading to the top, where there is a nice seating area overlooking the city. Along the way, it passes several tunnels and rock niches. Ferrata is also suitable for beginners. It features a large number of metal steps close together.

Arrival

Ferrata is located on the western outskirts of Peja, Kosovo. In the 1.5 km distant visitor center it is possible to rent equipment for a fee of 8 euros, or use the services of a guide.

Approach

The start of the ferrata is directly on the road at a distance of about 1.5 km from the western edge of Peja. You can park your car there.

Exit

Descending path is moderate, sometimes secured. It leads through a nice woodland and offers some nice views of the city.
