Characteristics

Ferrata leads to Mitterstein Peak and can be considered as a separate route. It contains one heavy D part.

Ferrata can be combined with Super Ferrata Dachstein, by passing all three ferratas: Anna Klettersteig, Der Johann and Schulteranstieg. This road has an elevation of 1200m and is one of the longest ferrata in Europe. 

Arrival

Schladming - turn right to Ramsau am Dachstein, continue straight ahead and then take the Dachsteinstraße on the right up to the parking.

Approach

From the cable car station, it is about 20 minutes to Dachsteinsüdwandhütte. From the hut to Pernerweg in the direction of Tor, until you get there.

Exit

Either go left via Johann-Klettersteig (E), or take right to the Südwandhütte and then to the cable car station.
