Very long tour, which includes also walking parts without ferrata. In the first part we have to climb the wall Kriška stena and at the end we have to climb the last part to the summit of the second highest peak in Slovenia, Škrlatica (2740 m).
Arrival
From Kranjska Gora to Hotel Erika or to Mihov dom na Vršiču (1085 m).
Approach
From the parking to Koča v Krnici (1112 m) and further on to Kriška stena, where forst ferrata parts begin.
Exit
Fastest descent is to Vrata (Aljažev dom). If we want to get back on the same way, we need 5 hours for the whole descent.
Interesting facts
Škrlatica is also called "the queen" of Slovenian mountains. Described tour is one of the most magnificent ones in Slovenian mountains.
