Characteristics

Nice and light walk (maximum B) with a breathtaking canyon with cascades and waterfalls. The route is also suitable for children in case they are well-secured, because it is definitely not without risk. Part of the ferrata is also a passage behind the waterfall and can be shortened or extended as you desire. In half of the bottom part there is a turn up the canyon, which leads through a beautiful forest to the parking lot. The road is well secured.

Arrival

Ferrata is located about 8km north of the famous Cortina d'Ampezzo in the Italian Dolomites. Arriving to Cortina is on the SS51 road. Park in the sharpest corner on the way to Toblach.

Approach

The ascent is quite pleasant, less than an hour uphill along the beautiful path through the woods.

Exit

Either on the same route as you've come, or turn right in the middle of the bottom of the ferrata (at the lowest point), which leads you to the car park in a different way.
