Characteristics

Kata is know as very demanding ferrata, which is located above the town of Tatabánya and under the monument Turul. You need strong hands, calm and balance :) On the route are vertical elevations with overhangs combined with places where the path leads horizontally to almost smooth rocks. Of course without the help of cramps = only you, rock and steel rope. The final part of the ferrata is less demanding than the first half.

Free parking, located directly above the ferrata

Approach

From the parking lot across the forest park, down the stone stairs. Very good marking that you will not miss.

Exit

When you reach the end, you will see a few rocks across the forest. On these rocks you will want to sit right and enjoy the view of flat Hungary
