Characteristics

Another interesting area for climbing in the Czech Republic is the Ice Wall Vír. Over the winter you can try iceclimbing, over the summer ferrata climbing :) we are starting to grow in CZ:)

Arrival

When you are going through the village Vír, take the road towards Hluboké at the bridge over the river Svratka and after 650 metres park on the left side of the road.

Approach

From the parking lot take the road towards the dam of Vír II. (the journey takes 5 minutes). The Ferrata begins below the dam, from where it can be seen on the right side of the rock.

Exit

The way continues to the end of the forest. From here you can go down the road between the parking lot and the entrance to the ferrata.
