Characteristics

Ferrata is located on the basalt hill Vrabinec near the castle ruins and has a beautiful view on the surroundings.

It is rather a traverse around a rock tower and so the elevation is minimal. The route comes around climbing routes and was built as most of them by Karel Bělina.

Arrival

From Ústí or Děčín on the right side of the Elbe in the direction of Těchlovice. In Těchlovice, head towards Babětín and after about 900 meters you can park on the right side of the road.

Approach

On the opposite side of the road, a red-marked hiking trail leads to the ruins of Vrabinec Castle. Between the rock towers you will already see the via ferrata steel rope.
