Characteristics
A classic simple via ferrata with relatively long approach and exit. Ferrata is not very hard and is suitable for beginners. In combination with Koppenkarstein Westgrat or the Besteigung des Hohen Dachsteins, it can be a long and challenging climb.
Arrival
Linz - Schladming - turn to Ramsau am Dachstein, go straight and then take the Dachsteinstraße to the right up to the cable car where there is a parking spot.
Approach
From the cable car to the Südwandhütte. From the cottage it is about 2h along the marked path to the start of the ferrata.
Exit
Either same as approach or through Austriascharte and Edelgrießkar.
