Characteristics

Via ferrata near Engelberg leads from the Jochpass saddle to the southeast ridge to the top of Graustock. It allows direct ascent through exposed rocky wall and provides magnificent views of the 700m high Graustock North Wall.

Engelberg.

Approach

Take the cable car Trubsee, 1796m - chairlift Jochpass, 2207m - from the upper station to the right to the start of the ferrata - about 20 min.

Exit

From the top of the Graustock the same way back to the marked turn, then to the right to the south to the level that forms the transition to the Schaftal Valley - at the úpomt 2324 you will find a hiking path which goes to the left to Jochpass.
