Characteristics
Relatively very difficult via ferrata in Most pod Hněvín Castle. The ascent is very strict, there is no suitable step, you need to grab it by force... This is followed by a nice, easier climb up to the most difficult part of the via ferrata - a vertical ascent in the overhang, where you need to use the only steel cramp in the whole of Hněvín to climb up to the next hold on the overhang and then another difficult vertical place, where you need to use natural holds to overcome the last difficult place in the slight overhang.
Arrival
Parking lot at the castle, see GPS parking.
Onset
On the way to the old waterworks to the start of the via ferrata or to the left before the entrance to the castle about 100m to the gazebo and then to the right go down the forest path to the entrance.
Descent
The via ferrata connects to route 1, which ends at the gazebo, from it back to the parking lot.
Interesting facts
There is a cave near the via ferrata that was excavated by German soldiers during World War II and served as a shelter against air raids.
