Characteristics

The Ferrata was first opened in 1963 and is of the classic ferrata in Dolomites. The first section is climbing through the tunnel and then we are waiting for more lighter sections and traverses of a large rocky mountain with a beautiful exposition.

Arrival

Cortina d'Ampezzo. From Cortina to Passo Falzarego and to Rifugio Dibona, where is a parking place.

Approach

From the Rifugio Dibona follow the route 403 to Valón de Tofano, where you will continue on route 442 towards Gallerie de Castelleto, where begins the first secured part.

Exit

Downhill on the right. The way to the Rifugio Cantore is badly marked. From the cabin on the way 403 back to the parking place.
