In 2019, a practice via ferrata with several variants was built on the 40 m high Bergkraxlerwand above the abandoned iron quarry. In principle, there are three versions of different weights that are connected to each other halfway up. Of course, a short rope bridge over a small gorge should not be missed.

Eisensteinhöhle Bad Fischau car park.

Approach

From the parking lot, climb the forest road until just before the Eisenstein shelter. Follow the yellow markings.

Exit

From the exit, follow the stone tracks, climb briefly into the forest and then always keep to the right back to the base of the wall.
