Characteristics
Not very long and quite easy via ferrata with nice views. The hardest section is short and of difficulty C/D but rest of the ferrata is quite easy.
Arrival
Salzburg further down the motorway south and exit to Bischofshofen. Then drive through Saalfelden to Lofer, where you turn left to Waidring. Take the toll road (8 EURO) or by the cable car up to the Skigebiet Steinplatte car park.
Approach
From the parking lot take the gravel road towards Wemeteigenalm until you see a yellow sign pointing to the start of the ferrata.
Exit
From the end of the ferrata along the well-marked road to the top station of the cable car.
